Admin backup/transfer - observations

I recently moved between servers using the admin backup/tranfer tool and it was mostly a smooth operation. Here are some observations and a few feature requests:

Backup Side :
I found I had to disable some services and reboot the server then do tha backup, else I would get all sorts of problems with locks on passwd files.
I left just DA, SSHd and Mysql running and the backup went ok.

Restore
*I found I could only select 51 accounts per run using the select button. Maybe it was Chrome, not sure.

Suggestion - File list box should be wider and longer. Bu default it only shows a 5 or so backup files.

Feature Request:

• It would be nice to have a skin option to turn on more verbose logging to taskq log or message system. I had to do /usr/local/directadmin/dataskq d1000 to see what was happening.
• Incremental status messages to the message system. Maybe every 20/50 accounts or so, just so that you know its still happening and nothing has gone wrong.
• Option to cancell backup/restore - kill dataskq

Otherwise it was quite painless, good job so far DA

You must have had something weird going on. I have used it dozens of times without anything like that.

Its not normal and you should try to figure out what the real problem was.

I have selected over 100.

I didnt get any lock errors, and a nice observation I seen was you could back up user accounts from a reseller and restore them using the reseller restore feature so is cross compatible.
