Hello all ,

i have make a reinstalation of directadmin

but now i can't acces in myserver:2222

i have looked the password in /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/setup.txt

when i enter the password in login box he does work !!!!

Conclusion

I can't connect in direct admin panel:confused:

Code:
adduser admin
passwd admin

That might help. But who knows what has happened if admin does not exist anymore.

yes floyd " teach me to fish " LOL

***************************

OK i have added user admin , but the same prob i can't acces :/)

Like I said before if admin was missing then who knows what happened. I would know what to do without logging into your system and investigating.

Yes , i tryed to update mysql to 5.1 whitout result !

And i tryed a new instalation in /root/

./setup.sh

IN this moment i go in cat /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/setup.txt

i see the password

adminname=admin
adminpass=xxxxxxxx

but if i go in server:2222 i can't acces !!!!!!!!!!

In your first post you said you reinstalled DirectAdmin and now you say you tried to upgrade mysql. Which is it? Both? You get one more chance to tell me everything you did to get yourself in this situation.

OK i'am LOST

i have firstly reinstaled and secondly a tried to upgrade mysql and finaly i have make a new installation whitout result !

Now my objectif is to acces in my directadmin as admin !

how , with reinstalation or others

Thank you very much for your help floyd

Thanks for your reply scsci

But i don't understand what you means ?
scsi probably doesn't realize that English is not your first language and that many other languages use male pronouns for words which in english use neuter pronouns.

Check with DirectAdmin support, here. They'll probably be able to help you figure out what went wrong.
