i enjoy using snort to monitor activity to my servers, and had directadmin installed on it by the datacenter that hosts my site. i would like to know, since php and apache come from directadmin, and not necessarily from your distribution packages, how exactly do i install the necessary ADODB libraries and headers for the snort Base web tool to work?
it wants the "path to ADODB" but i dont see it installed anywhere...and as best i can tell, it would need to come from directadmin or at least be compatible with directadmin's php...im totally confused. lol...
i mean...if i try and install adodb directly with apt (running debian) it wants to update mysql, php, and apache...not acceptable with directadmin as far as i know.
