All my system is read-only after an file edit

Hello,

I just edited one html file on my dedicated server and after that
I get a read only error, same when I login in with SSH as root.
I rebooted twice the sistem and It was ok for some minutes/seconds,
then the system changed again to read only, after that I rebooted
again the system and never started up.
I have just sent an email to the company where my dedicated server is
about the rebooting. Any suggestions from here?

Rebuild the server with a new hard drive and then mount the old drive as a slave in read only mode and copy everything over that you need. Do not mount it as read/write again.
