All Users Vanished?

Hi,

I installed a DirectAdmin For a Client around 6 Hours ago. How ever in the past 30 Minutes all the data from the /home dir has vanished. Including all the MySQL Databases for every site.

I don't think it has been rooted. Due to only Provisioning DirectAdmin on it a couple of hours ago. And also that the Access Logs only show our VPN as logging in through the DirectAdmin Panel. And through SSH is the same only our VPN IP Has accessed it. I have checked for data corruption but all that seems fine.

Things don't dissapear from themself. Are there websites on it? Is the installation protected by suphp or mod_ruid2? If not, maybe a malicious script wiped things out.

Except that once we had a similar problem. It turned out that our /home partition failed.

Do you have anything in your home directory at all? Is /home on it's own partition? Is it mounted?

It's not an except, it's just another cause.
