We bought a new server for DA which will replace the old one. So, IPs etc. will stay the same. I thought of doing it this way:
- install new server (CentOS 5.3 vs. CentOS 5.2 on old one)
- install DA via install script
- setup all network interfaces
- stop all services / boot in single user mode on both
- rsync all the files listed in http://www.directadmin.com/paths.html
- Reboot
- Run the new server!
I think it's the easiest method, but will it run OK or did I forget anything?
