alternative temporary link

Hi,

I got a reseller package with directadmin and i have found a problem.

My host disabled the temporary link, 127.0.0.1/~userid

Is there a way to let users use somekind of temporary link to preview there site and use ftp?


They must wait untill the DNS is resolved otherwise..

your server says "this function has been disabled"

if there's only one domain for the user - you don't need to add the domain to the end...

Just edit the hosts file on your computer to view it.

The problem is that my host has disabled the temporary link e.g

http://serverip/~username/

So if someone gets a email with the information of his hosting he must wait untill the dns is resolved.

I cant ask everyone to change there host file (doesnt work anyway)

Actually it does work and it is the very best way to try out a web site before switching nameservers.

What do u mean with target link?
Someone said something about DA-api and domein pointers but he litterly died.. rip..
