Alternative to mod_cband

Hi!

today we have installed CB 2.0 on our serveur and we have installed apache 2.4 ..

It's seems we can't install mod_cband (http://dembol.org/blog/mod_cband/ anymore...

Anyone have a good alternative to this apache mod?

Only thing I found is someone mentioning using mod_ratelimit

well... mod_ratelimit don't seems to have all the options that mod_cband have... I have search and try many modules since a week and i don't think i will find a good alternative to this mod...
