an apache does not start at addition 245 domains

Apache 2.2.11 & PHP 5.2.9.

At addition of domains more than 245 an apache does not start.

What is it limitation and where to search him?
 
There are not errors in errors log, all ok. And an apache does not start.

An apache does not simply start when the amount of virtual hosts becomes some more value.
Can there is some value which is responsible for the amount of virtual hosts in httpd.conf?
