I have a problem with sending email to some domains. I Use Thunderbird and get this error message:

An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Please verify that your email address is correct in your Mail preferences and try again.

This is for one of the resellers e-mail boxes.

Any of you have a solution for this problem?

I think it's referring to your From address. Have you set it properly for that account in thunderbird?

It works for some domains and others not?

Problem fixed

This problem occured only for a few of the customers. And only for the ones with an external mail server.

So I just deselected the "local mail server" in the MX-records.

Now it works! =)
