Annoying messages service is down

Hello, i have installed kerio mailserver on my vps with DA and had to stop dovecot and exim. So i turned them off from booting, and stopped the processes. Then DA started to send me emails with the message like: "...the service dovecot is currently down."

How can i turn them off correctly that DA not to report it as a problem?

Turn them off inside the services monitor in the Directadmin control panel, and DirectAdmin won't bother you again.
