Another FNG

Hi guys,

I am having trouble setting up my websites in DirectAdmin.

Recently I bought a reseller hosting package which included DirectAdmin with Reseller & User authorisation (but no Admin). I am new to DirectAdmin.
Before this I used individual hosting, built sites with drupal and that went very well, all I had to do was install drupal with filezilla, build a site and move on.

I have read many guides but still dont have a clue.. as I dont really know what questions I am looking for (if that makes sense)

Basically all I want to do is have it set up so that I can easily set up my websites with drupal, build them and sell them while keeping admin/reseller control.

The problem is I cant even get drupal installed and at this point dont even know for sure where to begin. The site helper (although helpful) is vague to me & I am unsure of what order I should do things.. I keep falling over my own feet.. I feel very ashamed of asking like a FNG, so used to figuring this type of stuff out on my own..

So explain whats wrong then. Give an error or something you cant figure out.

Hello,

1. Login as reseller
2. Create some packages for future users. Set shared IP(s)
3. Create user account (eg. user1) with domain (eg. example.com).
4. Login in newly created account
5. Create MySQL DB(s). Remember its credentials for installer.
6. Upload a CMS installer with FTP in /home/user1/domains/example.com/public_html
7. Trigger the installer in your browser http://example.com/installer.php
