Is there any way to assign to an user or a reseller a multiple of a package? So, instead of having a package for 1gb with 1 domain and another package for 3gb and 3 domain and another one for 7gb and 7 domain and so on, having only a package of 1gb and 1 domain and then assign multiplies?

Hope it's clear enough. :D

Thats not how it works. The reseller is paying for a set amount of resources so is the user. The reseller can sell as many packages to a user as he wants as long as he doesnt go over the amount of resources he paid for. Same goes for a user they can only use what they paid for. What is the point in having them have multiple packages?

I knew it wasn't clear. :D

Imagine you have a reseller (A) which is paying for a package with 10gb of space. You have another reseller (B) which has a package of 5gb. Now i should create two different packages fro reseller A and B.

Probably English translation is the problem here. :)
I don't want them to have more than one package, but I would love to create package 'foo' with 5gb of space and then assign to reseller B a package 'foo' and to reseller A a package '2*foo', meaning that this second package has 'foo' as base but every numeric stat is multiplied by 2. So, when reseller A needs other 5gb of space and other 5 domains and so on, we only have to say 'now reseller A has 3*foo available resources' and we won't need anymore to create another package called 'bar' with 15gb of space.

I think this isn't possible by now, but I think it would be a very useful feature to avoid to create a lot of package for user or reseller whom have the same service but multiplied for a constant.

It doesn't work this way now, and I'm not sure how useful it might be because there may be some settings you don't want multiples of, and others you would. I also don't see any easy way of implementing it.

You've posted this thread in the wrong sub-forum; I've moved it, and it's now a feature request; if enough visitors express an interest, perhaps DirectAdmin staff will comment.

Why don't use add on for the account? It's just an idea:rolleyes:, allocate sum of every things and divided by add on fore the account.

Another case where it might be useful to have this feature: you have a package which is called "Hosting Base", which has everything you need to properly run a website. An users is set to this package. After some time, he wish to open another websites, with the same offers.

By now, you should manually modify the user, which will set it to package "custom" and forbid you to control it with packages in the future, or you could create a second user for him, or you could create a package called "2 websites" which has double the resources of the first package, but it's unrelated to this one, so if you whish to change your offer in the future, you has to change all packages manually.

I would find very useful to say: "This user wants a websites so he will be assigned to package '1 website', now he wants a website more, so he will be assigned two package '1 website'.

:)
