Apache and mod Security

Hello all,

I have a box without mod_security software.is it required ? Did you use it ?

I want to install it , but I'm afraid because of server loads or other problems...

How can I install mod security on server with easy commands or any script ?

Here's a good script which will install mod_security automatically for you, all you need to do is specify the appropriate version according to which version of Apache you are running;

I run mod_security and to be honest I've had no complaints from my users about it preventing legitimate access and it barely affects system performance even with high web server load. Give it a blast.
