I have noticed lines and lines of this, can anyone tell me what it means?
searched google and here to....
no convert in (/sbin:/usr/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin)
also this
Allowed memory size of 20971520 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes)
went searching through logs because httpd has stopped a couple times this week, with no apparent reason, all other services were still up
plus what does this relly say?
srv1 named[4006]: lame server resolving 'exool.de' (in 'exool.de'?): 80.67.16.124#53
named[4006]: lame server resolving 'exool.de' (in 'exool.de'?): 193.223.77.3#53

It means you don't have a program called convert in your path.

Your server is running out of memory.

It means your nameserver queried a nameserver for exool.de, but that nameserver wasn't authoritative. You can google for a line to enter into you named.conf file to eliminate lame server notices in your logs. We do, as we don't need our logs filling up with these notices; we can't do anything about it because we're not authoritative for the domains with the lame nameservers.

There's been some question over the years as to whether or not BIND should log lame nameservers, but some people think you may occasionally need the information for troubleshooting.

thanks Jeff
well then it seems I need to find out why its running out of memory, or who is using this resource to its max, just not sure how to trace this...
