apache repeatedly stopping and restartng

Hello,

For some reason apache is stopping and restarting multiple times each day.

The server is not very loaded. I a pasting a number of lines from the httpd error log below. Hopefully someone might have an idea what is going on.

Unless DA has upgraded the version of apache this is the same version as what was initially installed by DA close to 2 years ago.

I do see that apparently someone is testing the server and trying to find things on the server by testing various invalid urls.

I am overwhelmed with the fact you are running (it would appear from your post anyway) a two year old version of apache.

This is a community-help forum. Perhaps if you're not getting a response you should contact DirectAdmin support. Usually if no one responds it's because no one has the answer.

LOL thats a joke. You mean if they dont answer they dont care. If they dont have the answer then the right thing to do would be to say so, not ignore us.
 
I think you misunderstood me. This is NOT an official DirectAdmin support forum. The official DirectAdmin support comes from writing the DA support address.

I was referring to the community. Are you saying we don't care about your problems? That may indeed be true.

I can only speak for myself, and I respond to all threads I have the time for, where and when i have the knowledge I need to be helpful. Sometimes that means I have no time for months.

Sometimes I answer one hundred or more posts each day.

In fact, if I have the time, and I see a post that doesn't have any response after several days I may bring it to DA staff attention myself, or post to point out that the original poster should contact DA support.
