apache shuts down in between

Dear All,
I have Directadmin 1.27.4 installed with apache 1.3.27 on Redhat Enterprise Linux machine. In between the apache
is shutting down. In apache error logs it is showing following
error :

Syntax error on line 24 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/mod_vhost_alias.so into server:
/etc/httpd/modules/mod_vhost_alias.so: undefined symbol: apr_pstrdup

What could be the reason, it is happening everyday at once.
