apache won't start

I have been trying to install direct admin on linux fedora 4 and I get the error message

Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 70 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Can't locate API module structure `perl_module' in file /etc/httpd/modules/libperl.so: /etc/httpd/modules/libperl.so: undefined symbol: perl_module
[FAILED]

I am pretty sure you shouldn't have a libperl.so in your /etc/httpd/modules directory. That will cause the httpd init script to try and load a module called perl. How did it get in that directory?
