Apache2 installed and running, but DA not recognizing

Hi, I have a Debian (stable) machine running DirectAdmin, with Apache2 installed. Originally, Apache was installed and I overwrote it.

I've modified DirectAdmin config files to point to the new Apache files and so on, and all my sites are running fine and Apache2 is serving the pages but I am being pounded by DirectAdmin with emails stating

"The 'httpd' service on blah.mysite.com is currently down"

In my DA control panel under "System Information" it shows:
Apache 2.0.59 Server *** Stopped ***

But it's running and is working fine, where should I check to make sure DA is correctly configured to recognize Apache2?
