APE Server and DirectAdmin

Hi,

I just completed my installation of DirectAdmin and the next is installing APE server. Here is where the troubles start.

APE server needs libmysqlclient16 which needs mysql-common. After installing mysql -common mysql is still running but when I do a restart mysql comes up but stops directly.

Is there anybody out here who can help me with the installation of mysql-common on directadmin?

getting APE server running is very important for me!

You did not specified your OS type and its version.

It is always a good idea to look at the log file to see why it isn't coming up. I know on my CentOS 5 box, it is located in /var/lib/mysql/$SERVERNAME.err
