I see no option to specify a reason for suspension. Is there one?

For your own benefit to know why you suspended the user. We add that information to the notes file when we suspend manually.

I dont think there is anything for the api though. Ask for a FR.

Usually API has the same options as a HTML form... so simply try adding:

reason=none|abuse|billing|other|reseller_bandwidth|reseller_quota|spam|user_bandwidth|user_quota

of course you should specify only one reason.
