Although I have sent in a support request I thought I should post here as well. I just had a new server set up with DirectAdmin. I moved everything from my old server with no issues. I today assigned ownership of an ip to a domain. After this the webpages can not be viewed using the direct ip or the default xxx.xxx.xxxx.xxx/~username. I'm sure there's a simple solution.

Have you tried restarting the named daemon? Also check the /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/USERNAME/httpd.conf file and make sure it's using the correct IP there

I just reinstalled the whole thing ... No help! The original issue resolved ... Now I can't get to any site I host, I just changed to include vps.

I see multiple problems trying to do what I want to do. I reinstalled directadmin to utilize the vps option. After the reinstall all domains and users show in my admin panel but do not resolve to their ip's. I can look at pages in DA from the control panel after using the login as user option they do not display, just shows code. Must be something I need to do. Bummersince I have custimers wondering whats wrong. Any help is appreciated at this point.

I wasn't hiding my ip or dns servers? I just got so involved with fixing the problem that I didn't get back to the forum. I ended up doing a fresh install of OS then reinstalling DA. The problem arose when I performed a restore from the root back up I had saved locally. For whatever unknown reason it caused problems with the dns. I restored the users from the reseller level with no issues.
