Authorization Not Working

Hi Dear,

After we change our Server & restore our back up to new server ( with the same IP ) the authorization for the folder not working.

after that I make new protect for folder then test , but not working again!?

when I open the link for the folder has protect , I have pop up windows for insert user & password , but after I insert the user & password not workin & come again up the pop up windows.

What I must be do?

Have you checked your application required?
I think your application needs something, like access to specific file/folder or it needs specific application/function.
 
If your issue wont fix, So run the bellow command:
cd YourfolderDirection
find . -type d -name worldspace -exec chmod 755 "{}" \;

NB: after 'chmod ' type the permission you need

I didn't problem with permission my folder;

when I remove

AuthGroupFile /dev/null
AuthType Basic
AuthUserFile /home/***e/domains/****/.htpasswd/public_html/administrator/.htpasswd
AuthName "username"
require valid-user

from .htaccess it work & open my link.

I have problem with my Password Protection Direct Admin.

So, first change the .htpasswd protection, then disable it, after that remove .passwd and try again.
I hope it solve your issue :)
