Dear,

I am new to DirectAdmin, for this I dont know the detail of each function in DA.

I have rent a dedicated server that has been installed DirectAdmin, but after I add new domain, and modify DNS to point to the server, it run well and show the message: Apache is functioning normally.

But I can not access to my script that store in root folder of website. And the service provider said that I must manually config it, in .conf file of apache.

I want to ask u does Direct Admin support auto config it or I MUST do it manually? Or if DA can, how can I do to make it auto add alias to map to my root directory?

Thanks so much!

I don't even know wha tyou mean by auto config but when I set up a domain in DirectAdmin it automatically does everything it needs; it just works.

How about giving us some information so we can help you troubleshoot:

What's the domain name? What IP# have you assigned to it? What's the full directory path (from /) on the server where you've put the index file? What's the full name of the index file?

Thanks u so much for answering my question!

I have administer a few hosting, including windows and linux, it is so easy because of add new domain into the package only contains two step. But toeday, I have domain is http://nganson.net, and you can access DirectAdmin by following url: http://nganson.net:2222 with username/password is huynh/123456

I was uploaded an index.php file to public_html, that show php's info, but it can not be run although I spent times for reading site-helper, review the DNS settings.

Thanks in advance if u can let me know why n how to correct it!

The only thing I can think of is that apache has not been reloaded to include your domain.

No, I was restart httpd, even restart the server, and sure that all services are runing normally.

If u have time, plz using the username/password above and review settings, and show me what was wrong here! THANKS!

I already did that and gave you my conclusion. Without admin access I cannot tell you any more.

huanhvhd,

Please don't ever post sensitive login information on our forums. It's extremely insecure and could result in your server being hacked very quickly. If you wish to give someone admin access you must do it privately.

Jeff
