automatic provisioning

I'm on the horns of a dilemma...

If I use automatic provisioning to sell webhosting, I risk getting burned on CC fraud, and also hosting (for a short period of time) spammers.

If I don't use automatic provisioning, I risk losing prospects when they sign up and they get an email telling them that they'll be provisioned shortly because we're busy protecting them against identity theft.

What do you do?

Are you currently using any fraud verification such as MaxMind?

I'm currently not automated at all. I'm currently studying BillingOrchard, just billing with no ordertaking or provisioning, and AWBS.

If I go with automation I probably need some fraud-checking besides what AWBS offers built-in, and at the price MaxMind looks good. I need to figure out how to implement it within AWBS, though.
