The latest version of exim / exim.conf supports SRS which works great. Unfortunately there is a problem with autoresponders of the forwarded mailaddress.
A user uses [email protected] which forwards to [email protected]. When the user sets up an autoresponder in gmail, the autoresponder is sent to the SRS-adres, for example [email protected].
IMHO Exim should reverse that SRS Mail Address back to the original mail address, but unfortunately the user gets a delivery failed:
What can be the solution to keep auto replies work when using SRS?
