Recently started moving some users from a my old whm/reseller account and we have noticed that the DA's autoresponder feature does not provide a way to include a subject for the reply message.

Cpanel had this feature and some users are crying for this, any possibility to have this feature?

I have a customer asking for this as well, and wonder if DA staff can consider this?

I'll add this to the versions system.

It won't make it into this upcoming release, but I'll look at adding it for the one after that.

It will require a manual update of your exim.conf once released.

John, please remind me when this occurs so I can make changes to my masters.

Thanks.

And a note to everyone ...

If you use SpamBlocker features, then whenever you change your exim.conf file you should remember to make the changes to it to make sure that anyone who get's accidentally blocked will be able to find your error management page.

Hi,
The charset for autoresponders needs to be set by Exim, so that the subject and body use the correct one (the same used in the DA frontend when editing those texts).
We already hardcode this, but it would be nice if DA could add the correct line based on the charset used in the HTML pages.

An example on FreeBSD:
You have a theme using UTF-8 (everybody should use that in order to avoid problems with most international customers btw) and you write your autoresponder text with éàü, etc. If you don't set up the charset in Exim, the people getting the automated answer won't understand a thing.
