avoid user httpd.conf overwrites

i am trying to add a rewritemap for a DA user virtualhost..
obviously the /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/user_name/httpd.conf file that contains the VritualHost entry gets overwritten by DA..

anyone have a good solution how to approach this on a per user basis?
