awstat installation error

I want to install awstats with these commands:

cd /usr/local/directadmin/scripts
./awstats.sh

but this error occures:

./awstats.sh

gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
/bin/tar: Child returned status 1
/bin/tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
Directory /usr/local/awstats-6.95 does not exist

Any help on struggling this issue?

AWStats is in custombuild, so you should use custombuild to install it. You can do it like this:

Edit this file: /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/options.conf In that file you find awstats=no and change it to awstats=yes

Then you run these commands:

cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild
./build update
./build awstats
