Hi I had tried to install awstats through the plugin manager. But when try to update through web browser the following error throws. But it can successfully update in the following mode

#./awstats.pl -config=www.domain.com

The following is the error log when try to click on the update now on the browser

Create/Update database for config "/etc/awstats/awstats.domain.com.conf" by AWStats version 6.7 (build 1.892)
From data in log file "/var/log/httpd/domains/domain.com.log"...
Error: Couldn't open server log file "/var/log/httpd/domains/domain.com.log" :
The file or the directory does not exist
Setup ('/etc/awstats/awstats.domain.com.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong.
Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).

But the all the above said files are there..Can you tell me the missing thing ?

I have noticed that awstats is picky about the -config. You might want to run awstats_updateall.pl and watch how that program passes the -config=X.

I had this problem but I installed by hand.

AWstats is not part of DirectAdmin.

And the original post is NOT a HowTo.

I've moved the thread.

Awstat is not a part of DA...Right

Hi
I know it. Sorry for posting a wrong thread here. Awstat is found as an addon plugin for DA. Thats why I was asked this questions. And there is couple of howtos regarding this in the DA forum.

A HowTo is not a question. A HowTo is a set of instructions. So your original post is not a HowTo.

AWstats is not part of the core distribution of DirectAdmin. It's an add on that's not produced by JBMC, the developers and distributors of DirectAdmin. That's why I moved it to 3rd Party Software.
