Awstats ftp + mail

Could someone tell me how I can extend the DA-Awstats plugin with ftp & mail logging? I have tried to follow the guide provided on awstats.org , but because this is a plugin and works with other files and vhosts, I can't manage to make awstats analyze ftp & mail logs...

i think this is not possible because awstats does not work with exim files
