backup, deletion after how many days

Is there a function in the DA admin that allows you to delete the backup in the ftp backup over how many days?

Hi,

No, there is no such function. But You can overwrite backups

no, it still only have function replace file in each days ( Dynamic dated append ).

if you choose " Day of weeks ", it will replace file in each days ( 7 days rotate ).

@johannes that's not a good idea, and would have to be done on the FTP server. If for whatever reason a backup was failing and didn't upload a new backup for 10 days and it was removing them at 7 days old, there would be no backup files left on that FTP backup directory to restore.
