I have problems using the backup feature since my website are pretty big and it seems that files of 10GB's aren't packed anylonger.

I would like to see a feature that you can add a split size for the backup incase your backup has to tar.gz a lot of information (above 5-10gb's?).

That would be a nice feature, especially when you have loads of mp3's stored... :D

Yes we are discussing it in the general discussion forum too, but this is a feature forum, so I thought I'd post it here too as a feature in DA.. :)

Talking of backups.

Say, you use a remote server to FTP backups, and if the remote server happens to go down (god forbid)... Is there a way for backups to fallback to a local directory (main disk or another mounted disk)?

Well, DA backs up everything to a folder and when you use the FTP feature in DA then it is transferred on to an external server, if the FTP fails then the files are still on the DA server, if the transfer succeeds then DA deletes the files... :) You can use the option "Delete files after successfull transfer" in the DA backup feature..

:)

That is only for System Backups. That option is not in Admin Backups or Manage User Backups under the reseller level. It would be nice to have that option.
