Hello...

I'm moving DA accounts from one server to another DA server at a different datacenter on differnt IPs.

I've uploaded the backup for the first account I made under the reseller area in DA. We left the default "Admin" resellers on both servers.

However, when I go to restore on the new server I get the error:

"You do not own the IP 69.00.00.00. User blabla will not be created"

(I replaced the actual IP and username above of coarse.)

Any ideas?

Thanks so much guys!

You will have to select the setting under restore backup:

Use the IP from the list:

Then choose an ip to use. Then update your dns to use the new ip.

Now, we get these errors on some accounts trying to restore:

Unable to exact backup/user.conf from /home/admin/user_backups/user.tar.gz : Error while extracting backup/user.conf to /home/admin/user_backups/user as admin :
gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
/bin/tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
/bin/tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

Any ideas?

Thanks again guys for all the help!!! :-)

Your file is corrupt more then likely. Make sure when you upload it that you upload it in binary not ascii form.

Ok, tried downloading them and uploading them in binary.

Now, I get this lovely error:

"Unable to extract the directory 'backup' from the file /home/admin/user_backups/user.tar.gz"

Any ideas?

This is giving me a headache :-/

Thanks again!
