Is it going to be remotely possible to have admin level backups and the system backup in one main backup configuration?

The backup system has always given me a head scratcher, I have no problem restoring data by hand and all that stuff but I honestly can't see why it doesn't yet have a more useful backup system

I would like to see the user accounts backed up for the entire server, and each daily backup in a dated directory on a separate backup drive. Right now system backup will date directories, but admin level account backups won't.

Keep the feature that lets resellers and users backup their own accounts, but give the admin a backup feature where I can keep daily backups of ALL the user accounts for however many days I want, and work the system backup into that feature so I can have backups of the config files and such.

I'm trying to move most of my servers away from cPanel, but it baffles me that the backup system on DA servers is so screwy. When I configure backup on my cPanel systems, I get a packaged account file I can use to restore on any cPanel server, and I get a backup of the major config files in daily, weekly, and monthly directories.

Is it really that hard to create a package file for each account and put it in a directory on a backup drive with the date it was made, and still have the major config files/directories thrown in that directory as well?
