backups disappear

If I made backups using Direct Admin (user backup of all sites on a reseller-level or a single backup on user-level), the backup is placed in a backup folder.
These backups disappear by themselves after a few days. How can I change this setting?

Are you the owner of the server? Or a reseller of a hosting company?

If the latter you'll need to take up the matter with your hosting company.

If the former, then I'll need to rethink this, as I don't think they should be doing that unless your administrator has set something up.
