Backups - How long do your take?

I have about 40 users and after the backups are complete, the size of all backup files together is 14GB.

I start the backup at 11pm, and I get the 'Your backups are complete' email at around 7:30am. Doesn't that seem rather long?

I'm also curious how others handle nightly/weekly backups to another drive or system if you do.

Are they remote or local backups?

Took my local backups about 6hours for 16gig.

took pretty the same long time for my servers to finish backup, the more files the longer it will take.
