Bad Request

After moving to new server i have noticed the following error several times when trying to acces one of my domains through IE8 - after refresh its all ok

Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.


Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

My first thought was mod_security (messed up rules), but as its not affecting all browsers, I've no clue sorry.
