Hello,
I got a message that the bandwith is soon going to be used up.
And then my account will be suspended.
What can I do to prevent this? I don't know anything at all about bandwith,
so I'm not even sure what it means when it says it's going to be used up soon haha.
Hope someone can help me, because the site simply cannot be suspended.
Thanks in advance!
Suzy

Bandwidth in DA referres to how much traffic you have used. If you are almost done, you need to bump up your plan to one with more. In other words, whoever you buy your hosting from, you need to buy more.

Ah, no! I can't really afford paying even more :(
Is that really the only option?

Well, you buy a certain amount of traffic. This includes surfers viewing and downloading stuff from your site, email, etc. This is a measurement of usage. You have been warned that your usage is nearing what you paid for. Kind of like minutes with the cellphone. You have neared the total amount you have paid for, so you can either reduce usage until then next billing cycle or bump it up. Once your account is suspended, you will not have email or webpages until it is unsuspended.

Suzyy,

We cannot help you with this issue because it's an issue between you and your hosting provider. Contacting them is not only the best solution, it's actually the only solution, for otherwise your site will soon be suspended.

We can help with DirectAdmin Control Panel related issues (though often you'll need to ask your hosting provider about these as well), but we can't help that your hosting provider has limited your bandwidth and you're close to exceeding your limit.

Jeff
