Hello,

I am extensively testing DA and its features.

I want to know that what are the benefits of IP Link facility provided in Direct Admin and can this IP link facility be used to link IPv4 and IPv6 so that Direct Admin act as a proxy to accept IPv4 requests and direct them to IPv6 route.

Basically I want to setup a server with IPv6 as server IP, but as we know we need to be IPv4 compatible also so can this IP link option be helpful in this matter.

Thanks

Example

Your main IP is IPV6 but you have exta IPS second ipv6 or ipv4

this option will links webserver, dns, etc... to get work it together with your first ips or any ips you want to links.

so it not directly route, but add extra ips to any app that provide by directadmin.

So, lets assume I have linked my Main server IPv4 eg. 1.2.3.4 with an IPv6 eg. 2401:4f9:6b:3215:0:0:0:0,

Now, I have created a new domain account in direct admin lets say for domain - testdomain.com,
by default Direct Admin creates A records for required DNS entries with IP4, as server Main IP is ip4 i.e 1.2.3.4

Now if I try to access "testdomain.com" from some IPv6 network will it work fine? As we have IPv6 and IPv4 linked at server level.

Thanks
