"Best" way of setting up new account DNS

Hi - when starting out on a fresh install:

* Should I only have two IP's in IP Management - one server and the other shared, whats the best way of doing this?
*When adding a new reseller do I in fact add them to the server IP or the shared IP?
*Should I have 3 IP's with the reseller on 2 and my server on the other?

Many ways it seems of setting this up, I own the server so can have more IP's. Help appreciated on this

You can do any of those. What you are trying to accomplish determines what options you want to use. In reality one ip will work.

thanks Floyd, my problem is around nameservers. So as I have two these need to be mapped to 2 IP's? As such im looking to know if these two IP's should be the server IP and one other or 2 others without the server IP. What is the significance of the server IP?

Either way; all you need is an IP# that will always point to the server and will always be open on the server.

The server IP# meets these requirements.
