I've not worked with DA much, my partner set it all up and I've come in as he's in Mexico till Monday.. I have bge0 that looks like it's nearly gone, and if I change the system IP to fxp0 and restart it seems that DA license is tied to bge0. Is this right? Is the only way around to get a new license from DA? I took a real quick look on the site, but it's 12:30 a.m. and I've got to get some sleep. I enabled fxp0 so if bge0 dies I can still get into the box, and am heading home. Thanks

you just need to change the device name in the directadmin.conf

nano /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf

edit
ethernet_dev=bge0 -> fxp0
save

/usr/local/etc/rc.d/directadmin restart

it is tied to the ip address not the network device.
