When i'm trying to update DirectAdmin or make a backup.
I'm getting the following error.

Error restoring file /usr/local/directadmin/update.tar.gz : sh: /bin/tar: No such file or directory

The problem is tar is installed in /usr/bin/tar.

The linuxdistro i'm using is Centos 5.

Does anyone know where I can change the path to tar?

I thought about that. But i hoped there was a better solution.
A configuration file or something where i can change it.

Anyone?

Whats wrong with the linkoption Mattb gave u?
IMO that will work just aswell as changing any configs

Hello,

I would recommend using the link as well.
I've never actually seen a system with it living there before.. so the link would be your best bet. If anyone else as it there, pipe in, include your OS and version so we can make checks and add the link at install time, if it's more common than I've seen.
