Hello there,

I was trying to find a way to remove some of the blacklisted IPs that I wanted. Is there any easy way to do it through the graphical interface of DirectAdmin, please?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Wow! Thank you very much for your quick response. Unfortunately this files shows 0.00 KB size and it seems that it is completely blank! How is that possible, while I see that I am blocked from a specific location?

Sure. please check the attached and please let me know to explain what happened now...

Trying to open the webpage of DirectAdmin with Internet Explorer (because I am currently using mostly Google Chrome) because I would like to take the screenshot with the "snag-it" plugin (available only for IE) and the scroll option it has, I did a mistake with the strong password I have, so I blocked myself!

I restarted my router so I took a new IP and I was able to login again on the DirectAdmin. After that, I realized that the ip_blacklist file was not empty any more, as you can see on the attached screenshot.

The question is still valid. How the hell I can't connect from another specific location, as that IP seems not to be blocked from this file, and how is possible to have received a message in the messaging system of DirectAdmin that some IPs are blocked, but they are not showing on this file...?

Sorry for making you confuse with this, but I am very confused with this now...

Okay, that's a strange story...! I am able to connect now from the location I was not able before...!

What to say... Anyway, my question is already answered and thank you very much for this. I know now how to edit the blacklisted IPs through DirectAdmin control panel!

That's good.

Previously talking about a screenshot of a page, I was meaning the page on which you were seeing a message about block. I wanted to know in what design was that page. Perhaps it was not Directadmin, that blocks you.

Anyway, if it's ok now, I'm glad.

Hi zEitEr,

Thank you very much for your help. You probably are right. Maybe it was not DirectAdmin blocking me, as I am behind a lot of security appliances, on a corporate environment.
