I have a couple accounts that receiving many attempts as spam and logging in. I want to ban EVERYBODY who attempts to log in as these users. I also want to ban anybody sending email to them. The accounts have long been abandend and nobody checks them.

I am running CSF if that helps... I can't help but think there might be something in the BFM (Brute Force Monitor) that might help here.

Thanks!

I don't see a way how to do it with BFM, as for now it's not possible to have different settings for a specified account or email attacking.

I'm having the same problem. 2 useraccounts on a server are checked by Googlemail regularly. We contacted the old users (which accounts do not exist anymore) but they said they did not have google fetch their email anymore.
That's not true because we can see they to. A mail to Google abuse had no effect.

So we went in the bruteforce monitor and put both those email addresses in the ignore list. Maybe that's an idea for you?

The same was with me. No affect from Google. The only possible result in this case is using an ignore list, as I see it.
