I'd like to be able to block email by IP in the user control panel. I've tried setting up IP's in block-by-domain, but that doesn't seem to work.

Right now I'm getting hammered by netsky. I'm using pop3 for email, so squirrelmail filters don't help. Host doesn't have AV installed on the server (unless you want to recommend an AV that I can add as a user!!).

Netsky (and all current viruses) spoof the from:, but the IP is all the same. If I could block by IP, then I wouldn't have to count on my client antivirus. (Viruses should ideally be removed at the server anyway...)

The filters in the user control panel block only on "From:" address and on body contents, so they don't help you with viruses.

Only your host can install system-based Anti-Virus software, so if you don't want to delete viruses on your local desktop systems, then you need to either:

a) convince your host to add AV software

or

b) switch hosts

I'm trying to get them talked into 1 -- don't really want to do 2, but if they won't, I will...

Would there be some way to add this to a future rev of DA? You should be able to search the header for a user-defined string just as you might search the body for such a string...

Just a thought.

Thanks for an already great product!
