Brand new, Having publishing problems

Hi guys! Sorry if I don't know all the lingo but I'm brand new at all this and trying my best to learn

I made a simple 'under construction' page for my new domain and am trying to publish it. It's just a picture that says my site is coming soon that I created in NetObjects Fusion (yeah, it's an older program!). I sent it to DirectAdmin and put it in the public_html folder (it's called index.html) but when I go to site online it shows a broken picture link. What gives? It took me hours to get that far!

Got it!

I figured it out! I had the index.html in there fine BUT I didn't have the .jpg in the public_html folder so it was displaying a broken link. I added the .jpg to that folder and viola!!
