Bridging DirectAdmin to Joomla for clients??

I have a unique question which I'm not sure if there is an answer to it. I am looking to make a 'portal' site for customers and clients where they can have an all in one managed area for services my business offers. One of the ideas is to have customers manage their DirectAdmin accounts from this area.

I would look like to have the website backend being run by Joomla and having a client account area. But is there anyway to connect DirectAdmin API to Joomla?

I feel like I'm thinking outloud... thoughts? Suggestions?

Don't know whether this is possible or not, however we would be highly interested in this idea and script that makes it possible
