Hi there,
On my brand new server, I keep getting "Brute-Force Attack detected" messages in my messages. I get about 10 of these every day, with content like this:
It's a brand new server, and I only have one (unlaunched) website hosted on it, so it looks like a bot. I have another server at the same server farm, and I have never experienced this.
Is there anything I can do about it? Of course I could set it to off - but isn't there a firewall option I can set to prevent these attacks?

User gbox has 158 failed login attempts: proftpd1=158
