buffer file

I'm trying to setup a script that I use on many sites. It uses a buffer file to rebuild all the html pages.

For some reason it isn't letting the buffer file be made. Any ideas?

Is the buffer file it's trying to create to big?
Does the location that the script is trying to create the buffer file in have correct permissions or nothign conflicts?
